The blended biodegradable material can cause leachates and chemicals that are corrosive to cause spalling in concrete. Due to this, the client needed a solution that would prevent any unnecessary corrosion that could impact the service life of the concrete slab. Durus EasyFinish was used as it removed the need for steel mesh therefore eliminating the probability of corrosion and spalling taking place.
